After renaming the club charity the Vichai Srivaddhanaprahba Foundation, a recent auction held by Leicester City for the cause has raised almost £20,000.
This week it was decided that three items would be auctioned off in order to raise money for the charity, to which the late club chairman had personally donated over £4 million during his tenure at the club.
The items were as follows: Jamie Vardy's match boots from the win in Cardiff last week with 'Khun Vichai' embroidered on the side, a pair of Kasper Schmeichel's gloves, and Vardy's executive box for this weekend's visit of Burnley (complete with a meal, match seats and a personal visit from the player).
A staggering amount of money was made by each item; the boots £9,008, the gloves £4,000, and the executive box £6,700.
In total the items generated £19,708, all of which will go directly to the Vichai Srivaddhanaprahba Foundation.
There are thought to be a number of other small items that will be available to buy, again with the proceeds going straight to the club foundation.
Leicester City have said that under its new name, the Vichai Srivaddhanaprahba Foundation will continue to use football as a force for good in the local community, in a way that reflects the generosity, care and love of their dearly departed owner.
