The 18 year-old had started the match before being substituted at half-time for tactical reasons. He was sat on the bench with his team mates when he collapsed, with the game being paused for 12 minutes while paramedics attended to the teenager.
Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa said: "What we know is that he didn't feel well. We don't know the reasons yet, but when he was taken to the dressing room he was better. He was taken to hospital to see if he is alright."
His team went on to score a 101st minute equliser through Kalvin Phillips to make the score 1-1. Clarke is a hot prospect in British football, with Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United keeping tabs on the youngster, who is valued at £12million.
