Bad news for Köln just more than a month until the 2020-21 Bundesliga starts. The German side confirmed on Saturday that two players have tested positive for COVID-19.
"Two players have tested positive for coronavirus. Both went straight to quarantine at home after informing the Health Department. In the two rounds of testing, all other tests were negative", Köln clarified in a statement.
Moreover, the club announced that all the under 16 to under 19 matches have been cancelled "as a precautionary measure", as the youth team players had contact with the infected people.
A bad piece of news when there is just over a month until the next edition of the Bundesliga starts. Meanwhile, the players will have to rest in their homes.
