José Antonio Martínez has reached an agreement to put an end to his spell at Eibar, the club where he arrived in summer 2018, and leaves without even playing an official match. He will continue his career with FC Dallas in the MLS.

SD Eibar have made known on Saturday that they have reached an agreement with American side FC Dallas for the transfer of the CB José Antonio Martínez.

The defender signed for Eibar in the 2018-19 season from the Barca B team. After completing the preseason with Barca, he went on loan to Granada where he played for two seasons.

This season he had not yet debuted under José Luis Mendilibar in an official match, although he had been called up on numerous occasions, the last of which was last Thursday in the opening match of the Copa del Rey 2020-21, in which Eibar faced Racing Rioja of the Third Division in Haro.
