After an unprecedented pandemic, football and other sectors are slowly recovering. However, there are those who believe that football is being affected by the low capacity of the stadiums.
At the moment it is not 100%, something Dal Pino has criticised. The Serie A league president spoke to the 'Festival dello Sport' about what it means to not have full capacity anymore.
"We have always fought for 100 per cent capacity in Italian stadiums. 75% is welcome, but it is absurd to have 100% full in cinemas and theatres, and outdoors we have 75% in football stadiums," he said.
Finally, the president sent a message. "This percentage can be reached as soon as possible. We are days or weeks away from 100%. I am convinced that this will happen. If it doesn't, it would be a discriminatory action against football that would add to a series of behaviours that have not helped our sector," he concluded.
