The 18-year-old is predicted to have a spell-binding and exciting career. In one year, during which he has risen to Chelsea's first team, he has been gaining more and more presence.
The national call-up meant the bar was raised even higher. With the score already at 4-0, and 20 minutes left to play, Gareth Southgate decided to introduce the youngster into the mix.
He substituted the hero of the evening, Raheem Sterling, who scored his first England hat-trick.
It was a happy day for the 18-year-old to have been able to play for his country at such a young age.
"The day was crazy, but to have my first call-up to the national squad is an incredible feeling. It's a dream come true. Now I have to work hard, enjoy every moment and continue working so that I can have an impact when I have the opportunity", he said in statements made to 'The Times'.
He has been key to the success of England's youth team, as well as an active member of Chelsea's Europa League squad, the youngster's future is looking bright.
