Rasmus Hojlund, who was signed to bolster the attack in the summer transfer window, revived Manchester United's hopes after trailing 0-2. However, Kane added the German club's third from the penalty spot.

Manchester United started the match creating several chances through the efforts of Facundo Pellistri and Marcus Rashford. However, the Red Devils went into the break trailing 0-2.

Rasmus Hojlund, who replaced Harry Kane on the Red Devils' wishlist in the summer transfer window, netted United's first goal in the 49th minute to revive his side's hopes.

Nonetheless, England's top scorer added the third from the penalty spot after a handball by Christian Eriksen. The Danish striker's goal was overshadowed by another wonderstrike from Kane.
