England's number 1 is currently out injured, but following the teams victory against Germany, Hodgson has assured Hart that hw will be the first choice keeper for the European Championships this summer.
"Jack and Fraser aren’t really close to giving me a goalkeeping dilemma because we’re very happy with our goalkeeper, we’re very happy with Joe Hart,” he told reporters
"We let in just three goals in 10 qualifying games. We also conceded one each against Scotland and Italy in friendly matches so we’ve only let in five goals in 16 games since the World Cup in Brazil so let’s not say we’ve got a goalkeeper crisis.
"I’m in the same situation as every other country. Manuel Neuer plays for Germany – but they must have a No.2 and No.3 as well.
"I think if every time you were being pushed to leave out your No.1 goalkeeper because your second and third keepers were doing well with their club sides, then you’d be constantly changing.
"If you’re asking me if all three could do a good job, then my answer would be unequivocally yes. Any of them could put on an England shirt. That’s what competition is about.
"I’m pleased the other two are doing so well with their club sides and I’m happy Joe isn’t able to just sit back and say ‘well, he’s not going to drop me because there’s no competition for my place.’"
