Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland are two of the biggest strikers not only in the Bundesliga, but in the whole of world football. It is for that reason that the Norwegian's future could affect Lewandowski's. Haaland is the younger of the two.
Sporting director Salihamidzic's comments in which he hinted that Haaland is Bayern's main target next summer did not go down well with Bayern's big wigs.
Herbert Hainer, the Bayern president came out to deny that the Norwegian is the player Bayern want this summer.
"Haaland to Bayern? We aren't asking that question. We've got Robert Lewandowski who is leading in world football. He scores goals like any other every season," he told 'Kicker'.
Therefore, the Bayern president closed the door on a possible arrival of Erling Haaland who has been linked with the big clubs in Europe.
