Erling Haaland wants to make the move away this summer. His father and his agent Mino Raiola have been looking at possible destinations for him in recent months. Of all of them, the options which the Norwegian likes the most are Barca and Real Madrid.
But Haaland's Borussia Dortmund contract runs until 2024. And the German side are refusing to let him go this summer, at least for the price clubs are willing to pay for him.
According to 'Marca', despìte fees of over 100 million euros have been talked about, any potential deal could be much more expensive. Borussia Dortmund will ask for 180 million euros for the striker.
Real Madrid, who will go all out to get Haaland, are not planning to pay that amount for him, the newspaper says. No other big club are willing to pay 180 million either.
It seems like the Haaland saga will go on for a long time this summer. Borussia Dortmund are sticking to their guns and they will not drop the Norwegian's price tag. The teams interested in the striker are confident the player will put pressure on Dortmund and so they will be able to get the player at a much more affordable price.
