Griezmann's nice gesture to Mingueza that went viral on social media

Atletico Madrid beat Celta Vigo 1-0 at Balaídos in the 21st La Liga matchday of the season to move up to fourth place in the standings. Memphis Depay scored the only goal for Diego Simeone's side.

However, one of the most unexpected plays of the match came from none other than Antoine Griezmann, who made a nice gesture that caught the eye and got people talking on social media.

Midway through the first half, the Atletico Madrid striker tried to contest a ball down the left with Oscar Mingueza, but was unfortunate enough to step on the heel of his former team-mate.

The former Barcelona defender lost one of his boots on impact, felt a lot of pain and was left lying on the ground, where he was quickly attended to by the Galician team's medical staff.

At this point, Griezmann stood by Mingueza's side to apologise and took the opportunity to unlace his boot so that the full-back could put it on once he had been attended to. The striking thing about all this was that the Frenchman used his teeth to untice the shoelaces.
