Luis Campos' first task when he took over the reins at PSG to shape the new Parisian sporting project was to sign Milan Skriniar, one of Inter Milan's most valuable players.
After retaining French star Kylian Mbappe, who looked set to move to Real Madrid, the French side are close to bolstering their defence with one of Europe's most powerful centre-backs, Skriniar. The Slovakian international has finished his third season with Inter and is ready to move on this summer.
The truth is that the salary offer that PSG have put on the table to the Inter defender is very difficult to reject. According to 'Gazzetta dello Sport', the centre-back has accepted the offer proposed by Luis Campos, which will allow him to earn 7.7 million euros per season. The same media reports that money has not been the only reason and that the player has valued both the sporting project of the French club and Inter's interest in selling him in order to finance the return of Romelu Lukaku.
The agreement between Skriniar and PSG is complete. Now it is up to the Parisian and Lombardy sides to deal with the matter in order to reach a fruitful agreement for all parties. From Italy, it is reported that Inter Milan have asked for around 80 million euros, but the deal could be closed at 70 million. In short, everything is on track for an imminent agreement to see the Slovakian centre-back at the Parc des Princes.
