Friends and enemies

The two biggest stars are staring down the abyss, and their performances must improve soon. After a defeat in the first game, winning is the only option for Colombia and Poland. 

Group H is a complicated one for both, starting with a defeat has not helped. James and Lewandowski maintain a good relationship after their shared time at Bayern, but on Sunday there will be no pleasantries. 

If it doesn't end in a draw, the losing side will find themselves on zero points after two games and as good as eliminated from the World Cup. That will certainly be the case if Japan and Senegal play out a draw in the earlier kickoff. 

The draw would not be a terrible result for either side, especially if the other two in the group draw as well. Were it to happen, both sides would still have qualification in their own hands going into the final round of games. It's more complicated if results go elsewhere. 

Obviously, the best thing to do would be to win, with either victor having a realistic chance of winning the group. Lewandowski and James will be wanting to make their mark.
