Megan Rapinoe is the most influential footballer in the world according to 'France Football' magazine. The famous French magazine has made a ranking of the most influential personalities in world football, and the American is the only woman to be in the top ten.
Besides Rapinoe, there are only two more women in the list of 50: Sharon Thorne (global president of Deloitte) in 35th place and Khalida Popal (Afghan player, founder and director of the organization Girl Power) in 49th.
PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi leads the French list, followed by Juventus player Cristiano Ronaldo and FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
A position granted to Rapinoe not only because of her leadership at the head of OL Reign and the US Women's National Team, the current world champions, but also because of her claim for women's rights and her defence of the LGTBI community.
