Teams moving in to new stadiums have been somewhat of a nightmare in recent times, as demonstrated by Tottenham Hotspurs's new stadium where costs spiral and the opening date has been pushed further and further back.
West Ham have also had a difficult time of it since moving out of their iconic Upton Park ground, failing to make the London Stadium create the same level of atmosphere that other teams in the claret and blue experienced in years gone by.
However, Everton are convinved that they will not make the same mistake when they move to their brand-new ground, which is due to open in 2022-23 season.
"Any new stadium at this moment has to be carefully planned and thought out. Look at the problems poor Daniel (Levy) is having at Tottenham. It's step-by-step" 'Toffees' chairman Bill Kenwright told 'TalkSport'.
"The architect is working hard, the council are with us, the funding is going ahead but we're not there yet, but it's very exciting, the prospect."
