At 21 years old, Marcus Rashford is one of the most promising players in world football. Having made his debut over three years ago now, he has now cemented his place in United's starting lineup.
Thanks to his eye-catching form this season, various renowned European clubs are interested in making the attacker their next marquee signing. This comes as no surprise to the Red Devils, who are willing to renew his contract at any cost, with recent speculation suggesting that he may become United´s best paid player if he signs a new deal.
This does not seem to matter to Barcelona, however, as the Spanish champions are ready to fork out £100 million (€115 millon) for United's talisman, according to the back pages of the 'Daily Express' and 'Mirror Sport'.
The two newspapers report that Barcelona are hoping to prise away the Manchester-born forward with an attractive offer, although it is not expected to be enough to tempt United into selling.
The striker has featured in 43 games in all competitions so far this season, in which he has scored 13 goals and recorded 6 assists. Manager Ole Gunnar Solsjkjaer will surely want to keep hold of his player and will ask the club to make every effort to make sure he stays next season.
Interestingly, this news has broken just as United prepare to face Barça in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final this very evening, and the Camp Nou will therefore be keeping a close eye to see what Rashford has to offer.
