The Argentine winger joined the club after spending a torrid time in the Premier League with Man Utd, but has more than re-built his reputation since joining the side.
He has become a main part of the team in recent years, and has become increasingly relied upon since Thomas Tuchel joined the French champions over the summer.
His previous deal would have seen him leave the club at the end of this season, but his performances have seen him rewarded with a contract extension of two years, according to 'L'Equipe'.
The former Real Madrid forward has scored 51 times during his four year stay in the French capital.
