COVID-19 has forced the curtain to be brought down in competitions in half the world and there are now countries thinking about a return.
In China, without going any further, they apparently already now have a plan to return. According to 'Goal', the Chinese Federation have now ordered clubs to prepare themselves for a summer return. They want the Chinese league to return in June or July.
To assure themselves that they are all clean, the Federation will make all players and staff of each club undergo a double test. Once they have the results and confirm that everything is ok, then they will receive the authorisation to return to the playing fields.
The first of these tests would be carried out, according to the information published by the source, in the next few days. The second, before the start of the Chinese Super League, now in summer.
The biggest problem China will face for the return of the competition is what to do about the return of foreigners. The borders are closed and many players are away from their teams. Hulk and Oscar were the latest ones to arrive back before the government ordered the borders to be closed.
