PSG hit the wall with Inter Milan this summer to sign Skriniar. He was a target for Luis Campos, but in the end it was not to be and now there is a major race to the June 30th deadline.
Skriniar's contract expires in 2023, and it remains to be seen whether he will renew with the 'Nerazzurri'. From January onwards, the Slovakian will be able to negotiate with other clubs who have declared themselves as clear suitors.
To repeat the same deal with Alaba and Rudiger, Real Madrid want to negotiate with Skriniar, one of the key players of the current Inter Milan team. But there are reports from Italy that the Slovakian has more clubs interested in him on the table.
Chelsea and Tottenham have reportedly been interested in the Inter player in recent weeks to discuss a free transfer for the 2023-24 season.
Everything points to an interesting race for Skriniar. Tottenham strengthened their squad this summer with Lenglet and Chelsea signed Koulibaly and Fofana. Skriniar, for his part, made 48 appearances last season and will be looking to decide his future as soon as possible.
