Bruno Fernandes clears up Cristiano Ronaldo handshake

Portugal player Bruno Fernandes said that there is no problem with Man Utd teammate Cristiano Ronaldo despite giving him a frosty handshake as he arrived at the Portugal camp for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
"I don't have a problem with anyone," Fernandes told 'Sky Sports', after the friendly which Portugal won against Nigeria. "I do my work and, as a coach once said to me, what you control is yourself. I think we all think the same, you have to control your things, do the best you possibly can and that's all," Fernandes added. He has witnessed first hand the stir Cristiano caused at Man Utd with his explosive interview to Piers Morgan.
Bruno explained that the image of him and Cristiano arriving at the Portugal camp was misinterpreted because there was no sound. He said that had people been able to listen to the audio as well, it would have been clear that it was joke. "Now we're focussed on Portugal. Man Utd will come after the World Cup," he said.
I was watching television and they were talking about it for 45 minutes. Suddenly, they went to adverts and that is when the national team sent the sound. The sound says that he is joking with me and so they come back and said there was a joke and cut there," Fernandes added.
They said 'if you want to see again just go back', but if they go back they will see there's a problem. But if they are really true and explain what was in that video people will know, but now people don’t know," Bruno Fernandes, who was visibly annoyed by the controversy, concluded.
