The 'Telegraph' assured on Thursday that the Bournemouth board are now looking into offering the experienced Norwegian CAM Joshua King a new contract.
It seems that it is a strategy from the club to put an offer on the table with better conditions for the 28-year-old attacker whose current deal runs out in June 2021.
The reason? Very simple. Over the last few months, the ex-Blackburn player has been constantly linked with a return to Old Trafford, the team where he was developed when he was just a teenager.
In the end, his return to Manchester United failed on the last day of the transfer window, thus allowing Bournemouth to keep a player that has played 160 official matches and scored 47 goals. So far this season he has scored 3 goals in 17 matches.
