Although Bayern Munich have got tired of repeating that a big signing which would trigger much more activity in the market is lacking, the Bavarians are not wasting time and continue looking for alternatives.
The Bundesliga side lost Ribery and Robben who had been at the club for many years and they need young players. The Moroccan Hakim Ziyech is one of the preferred options.
Ziyech - or Ziyach - stood out in the Champions League last season in which his team as seconds away from reaching the final. His performances at the African Cup of Nations though have not been up to the mark.
As well as the North African attacking midfielder, Bayern are also interested in Yannick Carrasco from Dalian Yifang and in Steven Bergwijn, another young star in the Eredivisie.
However, the 21 goals and 20 assists which Ziyech gave in a splendid season and the fact that the 26 year-old is much more adapted to top level football make Bayern think of going for the Ajax man.
