Last week Chelsea reportedly rejected a £50million offer by Barcelona for Brazilian Willian.
However, Ernesto Valverde will be returning with a better offer as he looks to add new talent to his squad for the coming season.
The Spanish giants won the League and Cup double last season, but there are still doubts about whether they have the quality in depth that they could need for the coming season.
The offer has come after the departure of Andres Iniesta, and the club are looking for a player like Willian who is able to link up with Coutinho up top.
Willian, who is currently playing for Brazil at the World Cup, has insisted that he will not be distracted by the deal with Barcelona while he is playing for the national team.
When Willian was asked about linking up with Coutinho and Paulinho at Nou Camp, he said:
"Well, they are excellent players with a lot of quality. In addition to great players, they are very good friends."
"People speculate a lot. We see a lot of things on the internet, but this is not the time to talk about this. I've not received any information about that. I'm trying to focus on my performance, playing for Brazil."
