Balotelli reunited with Berlusconi and Boateng: he will play for Monza

First Kevin Prince Boateng and now Mario Balotelli have gone to Monza. It brings back memories of the 2012-13 Milan team. 

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio of 'Sky Sport', Balotelli has planned to pass his medical next Monday to sign a contract until 2021 for the club Silvio Berlusconi is in charge of.

The former Inter, Milan and Nice player had been without a club since Brescia's relegation. He had been training with Franciacorta in Serie D in these last few months. 

Vasco da Gama seemed to be in the reace to sign Balotelli. Their sporting director Fabio Cordella admitted they had been in contact and they were optimistic about his arrival in January, but the striker would rather stay in Italy. 

The cited media outlet explains Adriano Galliani called Balotelli and this Saturday, there was a meeting with Mino Raiola which saw an agreement sealed. 

At the age of 30, this will be his first experience in Serie B. His new club, Monza, are currently 8th on 14 points, but signing Balotelli has been done to try and get promotion to Serie A.
