A time limit has been set for Barca. The transfer market has a little less than a week left, but the club is also putting pressure on the team.
No team is willing to lose an important player without having time to replace them. This is what is throwing a spanner into the Depay and Olympique Lyon deal.
The French team still has the Dutchman as one of its key players and Jean-Michel Aulas, president of the club, has made it clear that he does not intend to wait until the last day of the market.
"We will tell the players that what is not confirmed in terms of departures before Friday (October 2), cannot be done. So for us the closing date of the transfer window will be Friday", he said in 'Téléfoot'.
This includes, of course, the negotiation for Depay. Barcelona still has no money to make the transfer and, as of now, they have only five days to close the whole deal.
