Joao Félix, Luis Suárez, Ángel Correa, Marcos Llorente, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Reinildo Mandava, Rodrigo de Paul and Héctor Herrera are the players who are a yellow card away from suspension. Man City have Kevin de Bruyne and Joao Cancelo in the same situation. Hector Herrera is actually a serious doubt to play because of injury.
A yellow card will prevent those playing in the first leg of the semi-finals providing they make the last four. However, the ban will be erased if they are eliminated.
At Atletico, Joao Felix has gone three Champions League games without seeing a yellow; Geoffrey Kondogbia, six; Luis Suarez, five, although he did not play in three of the most recent ones. Reinildo Mandava, from the first leg of the last 16 against Man Utd, just like Marcos Llorente. Hector Herrera have not been booked since the second leg against Man Utd while Correa and De Paul were cautioned in the first leg at the Etihad.
Out of all of them, four will probably start in the XI: Joao Félix, Marcos Llorente, Reinildo Mandava and Geoffrey Kondogbia.
