Brazilian players are in the eye of the storm. The controversy of Vinicius Jr.'s dancing has gone around the world, as have the racist comments it has provoked. The Brazil players came to his defence. Antony was the last to speak out.
"What I don't understand is that the spotlight is put on the Brazilian players. Neymar or Vinicius always get yellow cards for doing a dance," added the striker.
"There are many things that are not understood. People can't lose that joy, that essence that they have and it's not just Brazilian players who when they score a goal dance or dribble," Antony told a press conference.
The player was speaking at Brazil's training camp, which is already preparing for the upcoming matches. Brazil will face Ghana and Tunisia. Both friendlies will be played on 23rd and 27th September, respectively.
