Almeria could make another managerial change prior to the promotion play-offs. According to 'La Voz de Almeria', it is a matter of time before Mario Silva departs and Jose Gomes comes in.
Gomes is now in Almeria and he will take over after being at Portuguese side Maritimo.
The source says that Jose Gomes is very close to Turki Al-Sheikh and he will arrive the intention of getting Almeria promoted in the play-offs. If Almeria do not achieve that, Gomes might not be the manager next term.
He will be the fifth coach this season and the third Portuguese. Oscar Fernandez began and Pedro Emanuel, Guti and Mario Silva were the others.
Jose Gomes has been in Spanish football before as he was the number two to Jesualdo Ferreira at Malaga. The dismissal and the appointment of Gomes have yet to be confirmed.
