The visitors have struggled to create a single clear-cut chance so far, and this is fast looking a hopeless case for them.

PRVWManchester City lead this tie 3-2 as we head into the second leg, but Schalke caused today's hosts real problems two weeks ago. Failure here would be disastrous for Pep Guardiola, who has so far failed to get past the quarter-finals of the Champions League during his time with City.
