Defending champions Chile made it back-to-back wins after seeing off Argentina in the Copa America Centenario final.
120 minutes was not enough to seperate the teams, and Chile ended up winning 4-2 in the shoot-out, after Messi missed his penalty.
Alexis received the Golden Ball award for his efforts throughout the centenary tournament in the United States, where he scored three goals and had four assists.
