Nine-year-old George Shaw wins award for Goal of the Month. Twitter

Roberto Martínez handed goal trophy to the youngster, George Shaw, at a press conference. The nine-year-old fan, who has cerebral palsy, was awarded for his half-time effort when he scored against Swansea City.

George Shaw was spotted by Gerard Deulofeu online, when he uploaded a video of himself showing off his skills whilst wearing a 'Deulofeu 19' shirt. He beat Ross Barkley, Aaron Lennon and Kevin Mirallas to the award after he received 86% of the fans' vote, with Barkley in second place on only 6%.

George has reminded us all just how important it is to follow our dreams.
