Zidane's three possibilities

As Christmas approaches, managers all over Europe are under increased scrutiny as owners start to asses their clubs' progress and goals. The increased level of scrutiny will undoubtedly lead to many managers losing their jobs, with Zinedine Zidane patiently waiting in the wings. After leading 'Los Blancos' to their third successive Champions League his stock is high, with many clubs seeing him as a solution to bring their famous trophy home. 

According to 'El Chiringuito de Jugones', the hierarchy at Bayern Munich is interested on luring the Frenchman to Bavaria. Despite public backing, many question how long Bayern Munich will back manager Nico Kovac. The Croatian is enduing a torrid time in his debut season at the club, who he played for, with many calling for him to be replaced. The Bundesliga giants sit in fifth place and have lost three out of their first eleven matches, uncharacteristically poor form for the proud team. If Karl-Heinz Rummenigge decides to part company with Kovac, they may come calling for Zidane. 

It is also understood that Manchester United are continuing to monitor Zidane's situation. He has been no stranger to links with him and the Old Trafford post, however it is not a vacant one. Despite a slow start to the season, Jose Mourinho has masterminded a change in fortune with the twenty-time English champions, highlighted with the club's impressive 2-1 Champions League victory in Turin. Despite a decrease in pressure, Mourinho knows how fickle the Premier League is. Zidane has reportedly been learning English with the view to succeeding Jose. Mourinho's strained relationship with Ed Woodward and Paul Pogba could prove to be his Achilles' heel, with Zidane patently waiting in the wing. 

PSG have made an incredible start to their Ligue 1 campaign. The club are blowing away opposition in the league, however are looking less convincing in the Champions League. Despite breaking records in the league, German manager Thomas Tuchel is under immense pressure form the club's ambitious owners to win the competition. If this is not achieved, the club may turn their attention to Zidane, who boats one of the most impressive records in the competition. 

Kovac's continued poor form sees him as the bookies' favourite for the Bayern Munich job, however there is no question that Zidane has many possibilities.
