"Zizou has a very particular charisma. He has an undoubted moral authority and the Madrid fans have been in dreamland since his return. His presence helps the atmosphere around the club, which has been obvious ever since he retook control of the team," Butragueno said to 'Real Madrid TV'.
He also spoke of Real Madrid's superiority over Celta Vigo in their game on Saturday, saying "we were better during the whole match. We could have scored in the first half and the scoreline would have been even better. We were solid at the back. It was important to win and the early signals are good."
Zidane brought a host of exiled players back into the side for the La Liga clash, including Keylor Navas, Isco, Marcelo and Gareth Bale. Butragueno commented that it showed the club have a "very complete squad roster" and that everyone is at a "very high level".
