Clubs in Italy seem to have accepted the fact that, in their eyes, the season will not end. Such is the opinion of Fiorentina's president, Rocco Commisso, who confessed that an agreement is becoming more and more difficult.
The owner asked for time to see how the disease is progressing but confirmed that it does not look good. "We don't know what will happen in the next few days from a health point of view. For sure, we could not start playing before May 20 and it is not possible to make 15 games in a month and a half," he began.
"We would go until July, but it's impossible to know what will happen from the government," he continued, before explaining his doubts: "There may be a new decree banning training even longer. And we need to train for at least two or three weeks."
Commisso returned to his theory of non-completion, which he slipped in a few days ago this week: "If the situation doesn't improve in two or three weeks, I don't think football will come back this season."
