Ruben Neves' name has once again been linked to Barcelona in recent days. According to certain media, agent Jorge Mendes is trying to include him in a deal for Ansu Fati.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', Barca have a verbal agreement with Jorge Mendes for the Portuguese man in case he decides to sign him, but it's far from agreed upon at Barcelona.
This same source claim that Xavi, as well as the sporting board (Mateu Alemany and Jordi Cruyff), don't want Ruben Neves because they don't think he'd fit the club's requirements to replace Sergio Busquets, who will be leaving Catalonia at the end of this season.
However, Barca president Joan Laporta is convinced by the Wolves man, and will therefore keeping working on convincing the others.
