UEFA have confirmed that the pitch at Tottenham's temporary base Wembley is fit for use for their Champions League tie against PSV on Tuesday.
The Dutch champions had been concerned about the state of the pitch, after Tottenham were lambasted for the conditions that greeted players ahead of their clash with Manchester City last week.
Tottenham's defeat to Manchester City featured at the venue a mere 24 hours after the final NFL game had finished.
Much to the embarrassment of the hosts, the pitch was still emblazoned with NFL branding, as fears that too much paint washing would further damage the awful condition of the pitch.

PSV also had concerns as to their ability to train on the surface on Monday night before the fixture on Tuesday, but after an inspection, it has been deemed suitable for use.
A UEFA statement read: "The pitch assessment conducted today was not a UEFA one, but a standard type of visit and quality measurement that the Wembley stadium management does before every match. We can confirm that the media activities planned for today, as well as the game itself, will take place as scheduled".
'Sky Sports News' reported last week that the groundstaff at the venue had reservations as to whether the 7 day window between the City match, and the clash with PSV, was sufficient time for the surface to return to its optimum condition.
Nevertheless the national football stadium will host the Tottenham-PSV match as planned.
