Webo slams Tuchel for lack of solidarity

It has not been a good time for Thomas Tuchel despite his signing for Chelsea. The German boss, criticised in France for his coaching methods, has now received a slap on the wrists from Pierre Webo.
The Cameroonian was one of those most angry by what was said in the match between PSG and Istanbul Basaksehir. The game was suspended and Webo was upset that Tuchel did not stick up for him.
"We mustn't take lightly the fact that Neymar, Mbappe and all these world class players reacted the way they did because of this cause. The fact they said 'if this happened, we won't continue', makes them greater. Congratulations once again to Leonardo, the PSG president and the players because they played a very important role," Webo told 'France Football'.
He mentioned all of them except Thomas Tuchel: "The coach did what he did. There was a complete lack of solidarity from his part."
The PSG v Basaksehir fixture was suspended because of how the fourth official referred to Basaksehir assistant coach Pierre Webo. The encounter resumed the next day with new officials and both teams showing their support against racism.
