Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola appeared in a video published by Jordi Cuixart, one of the nine leaders processed because of his participation of the Catalan independence referendum. The coach, accompanied by other great international personalities, asks for the end of the "ideological repression".

The 1.24-minute piece features Nobel Peace Prize laureate Jody Williams and linguist and philosopher Noam Chomsky, among others. All of them say a sentence about the political situation in Catalonia.

The video, published by Jordi Cuixart, currently imprisoned in Soto del Real, shows Pep Guardiola demanding the release of Catalan politicians who are being prosecuted.

"We ask the Spanish institutions to stop their ideological repression", is the phrase of a Pep who once again showed himself committed to the politics of Catalonia.
