"Vinicius needs to be more humble and admit he is partly to blame"

Vinicius is one of the stars of this Madrid side on his own merits, and with good reason. The Brazilian has shown that he has an enormous facility for dribbling, outsmarting his opponents and even scoring and assisting his teammates.
However, the former Flamengo player is also one of the players to watch because of certain attitudes on the pitch. Many opponents have criticised his behaviour on the pitch and Kike Barja has been one of the latest to speak out about him.
"He's a very young boy... It's a debate we could talk about for hours. It's clear that he receives a lot of fouls and that players have to be protected, but he also has to understand that if he receives a lot of fouls it's because he has an innate talent that makes defenders have to stop him in some way. He has to understand that part of the game," began the 'Rojillo' player on 'El Larguero'.
"Vini generates controversy. He has to look at what he can improve and correct because he has problems with all the teams. He has room for improvement", added the player from Noain.
On the other hand, Kike Barja explained what Moncayola told him about his duel with the Brazilian in the cup final. "He told me that he was constantly saying things to him to get into his head and to provoke him. There are things you don't see. He has to focus on playing. I haven't seen anything like it except Messi and players like that," he concluded.
