Chelsea hosted Tottenham in a Carabao Cup semi-final first leg on Wednesday.
The hosts got off to a flying start when Kai Havertz put Chelsea in front with just five minutes on the clock. The Blues continued to dominate possession and they scored again after 34 minutes in bizarre circumstances. That was when Tanganga's headed clearance hit Ben Davies and went into his own net. After a positive start to the second half, Chelsea again took control while only Kane from a free-kick and Lo Celso at the death had chances for Spurs. Tottenham boss Antonio Conte spoke after the game and he admitted there was a gulf in class. Have a listen to his comments in the video above!
The second leg takes place at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on Wednesday 12th January at 20:45 CET and the winners will face Arsenal or Liverpool in the final.
