VIDEO: Atletico Mineiro defeat Corinthians to go top

Corinthians hosted Atletico Mineiro in a Brasileirao clash on Saturday evening. 

The visitors had an early penalty shout turned down at the Neo Quimica Arena and Corinthians went ahead with just six minutes on the clock when Matheus Davo scored. Corinthians went in leading at the interval, but things went pear-shaped in the second half. Guilherme Arana levelled the scores against his old club just after the hour mark and then Marrony won it for the team from Belo Horizonte with seven minutes remaining to send Atletico Mineiro top. Atletico Mineiro are top of the league on 38 points, two above Internacional, Sao Paulo and Flamengo while Corinthians remain 11th on 25 points.
