Arturo Vidal does not have a place at Ronald Koeman's Barcelona after having made 96 appearances in two seasons for the Catalans. The midfielder has become one of the club's problems because the financial terms of the deal have yet to be agreed.
On the one hand, Inter are continuing to press and 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' spoke about the fact that Inter did not have any intention of paying for the Chilean. However, this Saturday 'Sky Sport' has found out that the Serie A are reconsidering their stance. They could pay a "symbolic price" for Arturo Vidal.
The amount will be similar to what Sevilla paid for Rakitic, in other words, around one and a half million euros plus variables which will be paid based on how the Chilean and Inter do.
Progress has been made on Vidal's departure because 'Mundo Deportivo' reports that the midfielder is willing to not be paid the year left on his Barca contract. That would make the move much easier.
This means that the only thing Arturo Vidal will ask got is to be paid what he is due up to now and to strike an agreement with Inter. He will sign a two year deal and get six million euros per season at the Italian side.
'RAC1' said that Vidal's intention is to travel to Milan this Saturday to complete his signing for Inter while his current teammates will play the first game of pre-season against Nastic.
