"We are happy with our work, we are working very well physically and getting good sensations with the ball. Little by little we are increasing the pace," said the defender in an interview for 'Real Madrid TV' during the preseason in Montreal.
The 26-year-old central defender underlined how well the preseason is going in Canada: "In the individual aspect, I want to be at my best level. I am in good condition, I had a good rest and we are working well to reach my best level."
Aditionally, Raphael Varane took the opportunity to emphasize on what he thinks is the path that led him to win three consecutive Champions Leagues: "As always, it is a team effort. We have to be united, press together, defend together and create danger to the opponent together too."
