Liverpool are currently riding the crest of a wave, with Jurgen Klopp's side enjoying an outstanding season, and are still alive in both the Premier League and Champions League.
"Everything is good. We are on course for both domestically and in Europe. However, it will be difficult but we will try until the end", said Van Dijk after the Netherland's most recent match.
In domestic competition Liverpool's greatest rivals are Manchster City, a team who have not stepped off the accelerator. In the Champions League, Liverpool face Porto in match in which they will be heavy favourites.
This is something that Van Dijk doesn't like however, as he says, "The whole world say that Porto is an easy rival, but they are a very complicated rival. They're not in the quarter-finals by accident. We have to be ready."
