Valverde without an answer to Rakitic's sadness

"I don't have anything to say to Ivan's statements", the Barcelona manager responded to a journalist's question. This was after the charity match that Barcelona played against Cartagena, winning 2-0 with goals from Carles Pérez and Alejandro Marqués.
Rakitic didn't play in that match, who left his country's training camp due to injury. "We think that it's only a slight niggle and we hope that he can be with us in the next match", Valverde said.
Valverde, who remembered that his he scored his first goal away to Cartagena in the Copa del Rey, underlined "the solidarity and good atmosphere" that came with the match that was organised to raise funds that will go to the victims who were affected by the floods in Murcia in September.
"There was a good atmosphere, with the stadium full, and it has helped me to have a look at the players that play less", he noted.
The worst part of the match was the injury of Ferrán Sarsanedas after receiving a hard tackle midway through the 2nd half. "We hope it's a scare and nothing more, and touch wood it's that"."
