Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera keep giving priority to Arsenal

Arsenal continue to work in the summer transfer window to strengthen their defence for next season, as although it is one of the best performing lines of defence at the London club, they want to cover their backs in case they suffer as many injuries as they did last season.
It looked like the Gunners were going to go all out for Palace centre-back Marc Guehi, but it looks like they will not reach an agreement as the English defender wants to join a project where he is guaranteed to be a regular starter, something difficult at Arsenal due to the importance of Magalhaes and Saliba in the starting eleven.
That is why Mikel Arteta's side have decided to go for Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera, who has made 41 official appearances for the Spanish club this season at the age of just 21, all of them starts, scoring one goal and picking up just six yellow cards.
The Colombian, who plays for Spain's youth teams, has received a renewal offer with a pay rise from the 'Ches', but is still prioritising a possible move to the Emirates Stadium, according to Fabrizio Romano.
