In a slightly odd move, United are seemingly keen on bringing Stoke's 35-year-old second-choice goalkeeper to Old Trafford.
Grant, who joined Stoke in January 2017, made just three appearances for the club last season.
It appears that United want to bring him in as cover for Sergio Romero and David De Gea, in the place of Joel Pereira, who is set to go out on loan to gain experience.
'Sky Sports' are reporting that United have begun negotiations with Stoke over the player, who will likely be released on a free transfer if the deal goes through.
