Antonio Conte is not happy with his club's approach to the transfer market, especially after missing out on their top transfer target and former Blues striker Romelu Lukaku.
Manchester United finally announced an agreement with Everton for Lukaku to join Mourinho's side for £75 million up-front, plus £15 million of add-ons. Part of the deal also includes Wayne Rooney moving back to Goodison Park.
However, the transfer might not have come through as Chelsea tried to hijack the deal on Friday night. Conte's frustration led the club to desperately enter the negotiations with a last-minute bid.
The Blues informed that they would match United's £75 million offer, but it was too late. Lukaku will not return to Stamford Bridge, with the Londoners feeling his agent, Mino Raiola, played a huge part in the striker's move to Old Trafford.
