The market is approaching and clubs are preparing themselves for what's to come. At Old Trafford, they see Paul Pogba's exit more and more closer. Real Madrid are tracking him and this summer he could move to the Santiago Bernabéu.
United have chosen his replacement: they want Saúl from Atlético Madrid. And they would have apparently reserved 80 million euros to try and convince Atlético.
To this, you would have to add the players' salary. According to 'The Sun', United would offer him 230,000 euros a week, some 100,000 euros more than what he would be earning now at Atlético. Almost nothing.
However, this seductive proposal isn't so much for Atlético. His release clause is 150,000 million euros and he is a key player for Simeone.
We'll have to see what happens to Saul's future. That offer of 80 million doesn't seem to be enough to convince the Atlético board of his transfer...
