The Spanish sensation follows the signings off Aliou Traore from PSG and Di'Shon Bernard from Chelsea, both of whom were brought to United by club legend Nicky Butt, who is now U19 coach at Old Trafford.
The club have not officially announced the signing yet but Puigmal posted a photo of him singing his contract at Old Trafford on his Instagram.
The Red Devils had completed the signing of the teenager in July but had to wait for international clearance before they could confirm the new arrival.
On his big move, the Spaniard wrote: "Very happy and proud to announce that I am a new @manchesterunited player, a dream come true. It's time to work, come on red devils!"
The midfielder was named as the best player at the Mediterranean International Cup, which has featured the likes of Lionel Messi and Cesc Fabregas in previous years, and he will join a United youth set-up which is packed full of talent.
